Message from the President-Elect

President-Elect, FBA-Los Angeles
Chartered in 1937, our Chapter stands proudly as one of the oldest -- and the largest -- in the national Federal Bar Association. We aim to serve and provide a bridge between the federal bench, the bar, and the public on matters of importance to our shared legal community.
Our membership and our Board reflect the community we serve. Judges of the Central District. Civil, regulatory, and criminal practitioners. Federal, state, and local legal and administrative agencies. Practitioners at firms of all sizes. The range of expertise and experience represented on our Board and in our organization reflects the breadth of the Central District's expansive and highly active docket.
From our pro bono initiatives to our support of the Court's public outreach efforts, we give our members the chance to meaningfully enrich the community. In providing programming that is frequent and diverse in both topic and format, we aim to educate the bar and strengthen relationships amongst our members. Our events often feature and are attended by our District's judges, providing an opportunity to engage with our bench. Our vibrant Younger Lawyers Division serves attorneys who are newer to the profession, with the goal of developing the Central District's future leaders.
